Model Railway - What's your latest acquisition?

What's your latest aquisition?

Here's my latest purchase, a Tri-ang-Hornby R.754 M7 in BR Black livery.

The box was tatty, crew were missing and the BR totem transfers on the tank sides were part missing as per normal.

The model is slowly being restored, a fresh box mint was found on ebay with incorrect labels (the one on the right) and I have crew and original totem transfers a plenty in stock, I will post stages of the restoration at intervals for all my friends on here to see as they take place.

Here's the loco pre-restoration but with nice new original 40+ BR Totem transfers put on the side tanks, a packet of the original transfers is posed by the loco for reference.

Hope all at Hornby like what I am doing to their old locos.

Enjoy!

That can't be right Mike, according to some the only thing you get from fleabay is ripped off.
Well done, I've had quite a few bargains from them.

I haven't got it yet... but I'm confident it will be

OK.
It's from an flea bay shop in West Yorkshire.
Can't believe they would still be in business if they didn't provide what they say they do.

It'll be fine.

1x Noch Gras-master 2 Nozzle to further improve the static grass especially near fences, in corners, against walls etc.
2x Noch static grass more variations in colour/size
1x Hornby box of sycamore trees and they are even planted and watered (with

glue)

The only trouble with these trees is that they are far too small. A 76 ft tall tree which isn't particularly tall would be a foot tall in OO. Most of the are about 3 inches which equates to about 19 ft which is pretty small for a tree.

I don't suppose a dog bothers much about what size a tree is, though, does it, WTD?

No it doesn't but to my knowledge there aren't any dogs that have model railways.

They probably all electrocuted themselves missing trees.

I thought they sometimes pined for them, WTD. Oh dear! What have I started?

They tend to model the Barking to Wolferhampton line. Perhaps I should leave now.
