What's your latest aquisition?

Here's my latest purchase, a Tri-ang-Hornby R.754 M7 in BR Black livery.

The box was tatty, crew were missing and the BR totem transfers on the tank sides were part missing as per normal.

The model is slowly being restored, a fresh box mint was found on ebay with incorrect labels (the one on the right) and I have crew and original totem transfers a plenty in stock, I will post stages of the restoration at intervals for all my friends on here to see as they take place.

Here's the loco pre-restoration but with nice new original 40+ BR Totem transfers put on the side tanks, a packet of the original transfers is posed by the loco for reference.

Hope all at Hornby like what I am doing to their old locos.

No I've still got a bit left over BB. It was in the Sheffield sale, couldn't resist.

Currently in Graskieland - SWMBO says might be here until the

end of the month - I've told her that's the 25th January - if I have to watch another Disney video aaaaaah!

You're very welcome to call round, BB, as long as you keep your eyes off my gold supply. I have train videos, including ones I took, which beat Disney any day.

Hello everyone,i have just ordered the Mixed freight digital train set from the Hornby E Bay site.This is my first venture into DCC (who says you cant teach an old dog new tricks?).later on this year,i plan to purchase some of the new Hornby TTS sound

locos,happy days.

Quite fancy getting a Princess Class.

Anyone got one, what do you think?

The pivoting cartazzi could do with an update. But I can't see Hornby changing this in the near future.
