Model Railway - What's your latest acquisition?

What's your latest aquisition?

Here's my latest purchase, a Tri-ang-Hornby R.754 M7 in BR Black livery.

The box was tatty, crew were missing and the BR totem transfers on the tank sides were part missing as per normal.

The model is slowly being restored, a fresh box mint was found on ebay with incorrect labels (the one on the right) and I have crew and original totem transfers a plenty in stock, I will post stages of the restoration at intervals for all my friends on here to see as they take place.

Here's the loco pre-restoration but with nice new original 40+ BR Totem transfers put on the side tanks, a packet of the original transfers is posed by the loco for reference.

Hope all at Hornby like what I am doing to their old locos.

Enjoy!

@oldpottsline

Your post has been removed as it may cause offence.

@ Jacob

Personally, I find it difficult to consider a magazine an "aquisition". However lets not debate that as I fear this thread may descend in an unhelpful direction.

@ Caiptean

Nicely put.

OK, sorry. I considered it to be a purchase. I assured you that I paid for it and I didn't steal it. I appear to have started an argument again and I am sorry to everyone. Frown Embarassed Cry

Just got hold of a Hornby Class 56 in the EWS livery. Looks absolutely stunning. Will try it out at the weekend hopefully if the misses hasn't got anything planned for me.

x2 Hornby The World of Thomas the Tank Engine R105 Red Tidmouth Milk Tanker's

These two are undamaged and no yellowing on them, so two my yellowed and damaged plastic wired tanker's can go back on the market at some point.

How  ridiculous. Are we going to post here when we buy  packet of joiners, or some DCC  point clips.   . Totally against the  reason for having this thread.  Just when I thought the forum was improving

john

Just brought a box of cocktail sticks for my  modeling :)

If it’s not Crimson, it isn’t a proper engine

A rake of Colleyy 57' coaches with shirt button logo. Trouble is I need to keep them away from my Railroad  versions as they show these up terribly

Modelling a combined 00 and 009 gauge Layout (GWR/GVT) mostly
