What's your latest aquisition?
Here's my latest purchase, a Tri-ang-Hornby R.754 M7 in BR Black livery.
The box was tatty, crew were missing and the BR totem transfers on the tank sides were part missing as per normal.
The model is slowly being restored, a fresh box mint was found on ebay with incorrect labels (the one on the right) and I have crew and original totem transfers a plenty in stock, I will post stages of the restoration at intervals for all my friends on here to see as they take place.
Here's the loco pre-restoration but with nice new original 40+ BR Totem transfers put on the side tanks, a packet of the original transfers is posed by the loco for reference.
Hope all at Hornby like what I am doing to their old locos.

Pictures of one of the latest Hornby offerings of the class 31.This one is the Limited Edition in stiking 'Golden Ochre' or 'Bronze Gold'.Entered traffic in 1960 so at home on a late steam era layout.

That's what we keep telling ourselves (and SWMBO) isn't it !!
On this HAPPY note .... I had recently purchased an earlier Heljan Class 33
Now I've just received one of the latest ones - I thought the earlier one was 'detailed enough' but this takes things even beyond Bachmann and Hornby Super Detail (apart from opening doors and working fans - which it doesn't have, I think ...)
That's DEFINITELY my lot ... for now!!

x1 Bachmann Trains Thomas & Friends 77034 Salt Wagon

I don't have any of these in my collection. Very hard to get hold of and have been discontinued for about 5 years now. Just found one of each on eBay, but items are in the US. Both are silly priced, but well worth it for my collection, plus these two are brand new in the blister packs, unopened!
