What's your latest aquisition?
Here's my latest purchase, a Tri-ang-Hornby R.754 M7 in BR Black livery.
The box was tatty, crew were missing and the BR totem transfers on the tank sides were part missing as per normal.
The model is slowly being restored, a fresh box mint was found on ebay with incorrect labels (the one on the right) and I have crew and original totem transfers a plenty in stock, I will post stages of the restoration at intervals for all my friends on here to see as they take place.
Here's the loco pre-restoration but with nice new original 40+ BR Totem transfers put on the side tanks, a packet of the original transfers is posed by the loco for reference.
Hope all at Hornby like what I am doing to their old locos.

Latest purchase, two beautiful rare Tri-ang-Hornby "Thompson" corridor breakdown train coaches, just need a good clean, circa 1971.

I also acquired this beauty. It cost me £12 unboxed trade, fortunately I have a correct 1970 box. It's missing a few parts but nothing that can't be sorted.

A used Polaroid Cube has just reached me, for taking cab-view videos of the layout. I didn't buy the Plus version as I didn't need the wi-fi feature and the spec. of the standard version is close to the Plus, I have read. (We'll see ! 
). Also the price I paid -- £15 post free- was much more to my liking. The first video clip seems good, in moderately poor light. So I am now wrestling with the problem of which free software to convert .mov ( Quicktime) to .wmv or mp4 if I am to put anything on YouTube. Would be grateful for any suggestions using Windows, please.

I bet not many people have one of these. I got it at a bargain price as well, probably the rarest 040 made by Hornby.
