What's your latest aquisition?

Here's my latest purchase, a Tri-ang-Hornby R.754 M7 in BR Black livery.

The box was tatty, crew were missing and the BR totem transfers on the tank sides were part missing as per normal.

The model is slowly being restored, a fresh box mint was found on ebay with incorrect labels (the one on the right) and I have crew and original totem transfers a plenty in stock, I will post stages of the restoration at intervals for all my friends on here to see as they take place.

Here's the loco pre-restoration but with nice new original 40+ BR Totem transfers put on the side tanks, a packet of the original transfers is posed by the loco for reference.

Hope all at Hornby like what I am doing to their old locos.

A second hand triang track cleaning wagon and some new pads and a Triang GWR clearsory which someone has painted in the droplights maroon and the raise mouldings black.

Once I've replaced the bogies with my own 3d printed dean bogies and fitted it with a 3d printed interior it will look just the part.

A blue Triang Deisel shunter body. Just need the body fixing bracket and a brass wormed X04 to restore the loco.

The motor i had fitted is in good working order but is an MRRC 5 pole replacement which I would like to use elsewhere.

4 more Bachmann MK1 Blood and Custard Coaches.

And A Roco DB Bo-Bo Electric Class 111.

A nice Trix SBB Serie Be 6/8 Krokodil. Fitted with a Lenz Gold decoder

The LSWR Radial........fitted an 8-pin direct decoder after a bit of filing but all is well..............HB

It's finally arrived. The Roco DB br111 And remembering it's from the early 1990's it's a very fine model. And still holds up very well compared to today's models. Here's a pic

Great Western Branch Line Termini Vol.1 by Paul Karau.

Saw before I bought on-line that it had pics of stations and one or two track diagrams but was bowled over by scale drawings of buildings at each of the five locations: Fairford; Lambourn; Tetbury; Wallingford and Watlington.
