What's your latest aquisition?

Here's my latest purchase, a Tri-ang-Hornby R.754 M7 in BR Black livery.

The box was tatty, crew were missing and the BR totem transfers on the tank sides were part missing as per normal.

The model is slowly being restored, a fresh box mint was found on ebay with incorrect labels (the one on the right) and I have crew and original totem transfers a plenty in stock, I will post stages of the restoration at intervals for all my friends on here to see as they take place.

Here's the loco pre-restoration but with nice new original 40+ BR Totem transfers put on the side tanks, a packet of the original transfers is posed by the loco for reference.

Hope all at Hornby like what I am doing to their old locos.

I got a King Richard II for Christmas and I got a new DCC controller which I can change CV values and lower the volume.

@ 2e0dtoeric It's the railway equivalent to a caravan :-)

Anyway I was just testing my 2nd raduis curves its all i got room for at the moment.

As my 3D prints had not arrived before Christmas, I've ordered a 3D print of a OO GWR Bullion Van. Just need to see how it prints and remember where I put that spare set of GWR Amrican bogies

I've just got a blue highlander set mint in box never used for £20.00 only thing missing is track mat all the little bits still sealed in bag. Also the prettiest looking loco I have ever seen a 1981 Stowe

Santa brought me the Silver Jubilee set of A4s. He is a top bloke I reckon and it turns out, he DOES take Mastercard...

The Hornby Balfour Beatty Sentinel diesel arrived within 2 days of ordering it, well done Hornby!

My Kernow Isle of Wight O2 arrived this afternoon.

Nothing for the railway, but I'm pondering over whether to buy a petrol-powered high capacity water pump, or get my scuba gear serviced! It has rained for most of the day - again, and a new storm forecast for tomorrow!
