Just arrived - BR 4-6-2 'Duke Of Gloucester' Class 8 with TTS Sound

We're excited to announce that our very first locomotive with TTS Sound (Twin Track Sound), the BR 4-6-2 'Duke Of Gloucester' Class 8, will be steaming into Hornby HQ later today (Friday 19th September).

For 2014 our Hornby engineers have developed a unique sound decoder that not only provides superior DCC control, but also dedicated sounds associated with the locomotives that have been installed with this new sound decoder.

These new TTS locomotives have an amazingly low retail price for a fully DCC Sound locomotive. Each locomotive will have no fewer than sixteen sound functions specific to the chosen model, including whistle or horn, start up, idling, wheel slip if appropriate plus a host of other relevant sounds.
